Jane comes from a very close knit community in downtown Toronto. Her real estate team is called the Briar Hill Group after one of the streets in her neighbourhood. She picked that name because it reminds her that community always comes first. She came to Victoria to teach at Pearson College and then do a Masters’ Degree at the University of Victoria. She was a PE and Science teacher for 15 years at high school and university levels. Jane got into real estate because she felt she could apply her skills as a teacher and leader to real estate. Since starting her career as a Sales Associate, REALTOR® in 2006 she has been the recipient of many awards from Pemberton Holmes, RE/MAX and the Victoria Real Estate Board.
She’s very focused on being a community connector and ensuring her clients receive top notch service from her. Jane is connected to various communities in Victoria through her work as a Sales Associate, REALTOR®, the former Executive Managing Director of eWomenNetwork, the former president of the Capital City Executives’ Association and now as coach for the Esquimalt Speed Skating Club. She and her husband can be found on the water in the early morning, rowing with the Gorge Narrows Rowing Club or Speed Skating at Esquimalt Rec Centre.
