Like many of us, Judy’s initial Real Estate exposure came as a first-time buyer when she relocated from Whitehorse, Yukon to Vancouver Island. As a single mom, she faced the daunting task of purchasing a property in an unfamiliar and complex market. At that time, with no previous real estate background, she remembers feeling overwhelmed. Where was the best place for her to buy? Where should she begin to look? What was a fair price? What were the pros and cons of each area? What if there was something wrong with the house? There were so many things to consider, and so many unknowns, that she found herself losing sleep with worry.
Finally, she decided to seriously learn about real estate and the market place. She canvassed Victoria and Southern Vancouver Island, methodically searching through every district until she knew it like the back of her hand. In fact, she became so knowledgeable and enjoyed the process so much, she eventually decided upon a full-time career in Real Estate.
